Web Login & Security
To keep your data completely secure, web logins are protected by QR Code authentication tied to your mobile app.
  1. Go to the aiClassrooms website on your computer. You will see a QR Code on the login screen.
  2. Open the aiClassrooms Mobile App on your phone.
  3. Tap the Menu (โ˜ฐ) in the top right corner.
  4. Select "๐Ÿ“ท Scan Web Login".
  5. Point your phone camera at your computer screen. Your computer will instantly log in!
Note: For your security, if your computer is inactive for 15 minutes, the screen will lock and blur out. Simply scan the on-screen QR code with your phone to instantly unlock and resume your work. If it is inactive for 30 minutes (or up to 24 hours in a continuous session), you will automatically be logged out.
To guarantee absolute privacy and security on shared classroom podiums or lab computers, logging out of the web browser immediately erases all temporary files, local class records, and login sessions from that computer. This leaves zero trace behind. Your mobile app and personal phone session remain fully intact and unaffected.
Attendance and Enrollment
In Educator Mode, click the + New Class button. Fill out the subject name. The app will generate an 8-character Enrollment Code that you share with your students.
In Student Mode, click + Enroll Class and enter the 8-character Enrollment Code provided by your educator. Depending on the class enrollment state set by the educator, access is granted as follows:
  • ๐Ÿ”“ Open (7-Day Free Window): Any student with the code can enroll and set/correct their Roll Number and Name immediately. Classes remain open for 7 days before automatically switching to List Only mode.
  • ๐Ÿ“‹ List Only (Restricted / Auto-Closed): Only students whose Roll Number or Name were pre-uploaded in the class roster by the educator can enroll and claim their spot. Unlisted students are blocked with a registration prompt.
  • ๐Ÿ”’ Closed (Locked): Enrollment is completely closed. No new students can join.
Educators have complete control over who joins their class by toggling the Enrollment Badge in class details:
  • ๐Ÿ”“ Open (Green - 7-Day Window): Open enrollment with student self-registration. When a class is created or set to Open, a 7-day timer begins. During this window, students can freely join and edit their Roll Number or Name.
  • ๐Ÿ“‹ List Only / โ„น๏ธ Auto-closed (Orange): Restricted enrollment. After 7 days, open classes automatically switch to List Only mode to permanently freeze the roster against unauthorized edits and identity spoofing. Only students on the educator's roster can claim their profile. Unlisted students cannot enroll. (Tip: Educators can reset the 7-day timer anytime by clicking the badge through Closed -> Open).
  • ๐Ÿ”’ Closed / Locked (Red): Complete lockdown. No one can enroll, even if they know the code or are on the roster.
Inside any enrolled class, students can tap the ๐Ÿ“‹ My Enrolled Data button:
  • View Identity: View the exact Name, Roll Number, Email, and Official Email linked to the educator's class roster.
  • Update Roll Number: If the class is within its 7-Day Open Window, students can tap Update Roll No to correct typos. Rate limits apply (up to 3 edits before a 30-day security lock).
  • Editing Window Closed: Once the 7-day window expires or the class is in List Only/Closed mode, the roll number field is locked to prevent tampering. Students must ask their educator to unlock enrollment or adjust their record manually.
  • Name Updates: Editing your Name in the ๐Ÿ‘ค Profile tab automatically updates your name in all your active, open classes!
If you import an Excel spreadsheet that includes student email addresses, the app provides Zero-Friction Auto-Enrollment!
  • Students do not need to enter the class code or claim their profile. As soon as they sign in with their email, the class will automatically appear on their student dashboard.
  • Anti-Hijacking Protection: Because the student's email is already registered to that class record, other users are completely prevented from claiming that roll number or profile.
When joining a class, enrollment and roster mapping depend on whether the educator has pre-uploaded an Excel student list:
  • Roster Pre-Uploaded (Profile Claiming): If the educator uploaded an Excel list first, students can "claim" their profile by entering the Class Code and their Roll Number/Name. This works offline too! The claim will securely sync to the cloud once the student has an internet connection.
  • Automatic Email Match: If emails were in the Excel file, the student is instantly enrolled without needing to claim.
  • No Roster Uploaded: If the educator has not uploaded an Excel sheet (and the class is Open), students can enter the Class Code and type their Name/Roll Number to enroll normally.
  • What if a student enters the wrong Roll Number? If a student makes a typo and links their account incorrectly, the educator can easily open ๐Ÿ“‹ Enrollment Data, click the edit (pencil) icon next to the student's name, and update the Roll Number. The correction will automatically sync back to the student's app, linking their profile correctly.
Every student's original joining timestamp is automatically recorded as their official Enrollment Date:
  • Permanent Preservation: If a student temporarily leaves/archives a class and rejoins later, the system automatically detects their existing record and preserves their original join timestamp without overwriting it.
  • Excel & Google Drive Priority: When an educator exports records or syncs with Google Drive, the Enrollment Date is cleanly formatted (e.g. 27 Aug 2026, 04:30 PM) and placed in a dedicated column directly on the class enrollment sheet.
  • Student Visibility: Students can view their exact recorded enrollment timestamp anytime inside ๐Ÿ“‹ My Enrolled Data.
In Educator Mode, open your class and tap ๐Ÿ“ฅ Upload Student List / Attendance on the class menu. You have three powerful AI options:
  • Upload Excel/CSV: Automatically maps headers (Roll, Name, Phone, Email, Official Email) and past attendance dates (P/A).
  • Paste Raw Text: Paste text lists from WhatsApp or Notes. The AI auto-detects roll numbers, names, and dates.
  • Photo/PDF AI (Vision): Take a photo of a printed or handwritten attendance sheet. The AI scans and maps it directly to your class roster.
Go to ๐Ÿ“‹ Enrollment Data inside your class and click the ๐Ÿ‘ค Add Students Manually button to enter individual roll numbers and names.
Educators can choose between three secure methods for students to check in:
  • QR Code: The educator's screen displays a QR Code that students scan using their app.
  • 4-Digit Code: The educator's screen displays a 4-digit code that students manually type in.
  • Bluetooth: The educator's device broadcasts a secure signal, and students simply tap to check in automatically.
This is a frictionless way to mark attendance. When an educator starts a session, their device broadcasts a secure, invisible signal via Bluetooth. Students simply tap ๐Ÿช„ Mark using Bluetooth; their phone scans for the signal and marks them present automaticallyโ€”no typing required!
Once a student successfully marks their attendance, their screen displays a green QR code. Classmates sitting behind them can tap the Scan Peer Code camera button to scan this QR. This creates a fast chain-reaction of attendance across the room without everyone needing to scan the teacher's board.

Note: Educators can disable this feature by selecting "Host Only" QR Mode before starting a live session, which prevents students from generating their own peer-to-peer QRs.
To prevent proxy attendance (e.g., students sharing codes in WhatsApp), the educator enters a visual "Headcount" of how many students are physically in the room. Once that exact number of students successfully check in, the system locks down and blocks any further attempts, displaying a "Headcount Limit Reached" error.
Educators can enforce a geofence by requiring location. They can select ๐Ÿ“ Current Location (their immediate GPS coordinates) or ๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Custom Location (dropping a pin on a map for a remote guest lecture). Students must grant location permissions and be physically within that exact radius to mark attendance.
Educators have two convenient ways to publish attendance:
  • โšก Save & Publish (Daily Attendance): Located directly on the Take Attendance screen. Clicking this button immediately saves your changes locally and broadcasts the updated attendance summary to all enrolled students with zero extra clicks (no confirmation popup).
  • ๐Ÿ“ข Publish Attendance Summary (Dashboard): Located on the class dashboard and Assessment Hub. This updates the overall attendance records on the cloud. To protect students from notification spam, it includes a 15-minute anti-spam guard (soft warning if clicked frequently; requires typing "publish" if clicked repeatedly).
The Take Attendance screen provides a streamlined 2x2 action grid:
  • โŒ Don't Save (Red): Instantly discards any unsaved modifications and exits.
  • ๐Ÿ“ข Save & Publish (Blue): Directly saves attendance locally and pushes the live summary (e.g. 1/2, 2/2) to all student devices without asking for confirmation.
  • ๐Ÿ’พ Save Only (Green): Saves attendance locally and to your cloud database without broadcasting notifications.
  • ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ Delete (Dark Red): Permanently deletes the attendance session for this date (requires typing "delete" to confirm).
The app features a built-in Roll Number Conflict Guard. Before any student can join a class with a Roll Number, the system verifies whether that ID is already claimed. If another account already registered that Roll Number, the second student is immediately blocked with an alert asking them to contact their educator. This prevents duplicate entries from ever reaching the educator's roster.
Go to ๐Ÿ“‹ Enrollment Data. In the 2x2 action grid and student list:
  • Edit Roll Number / Details: Tap the pencil icon next to a student to modify their Roll Number, Name, or Custom Fields. Any corrections automatically sync to the student's app!
  • Official Email: Verified official email addresses are displayed directly in the enrollment table.
  • Delete Student: Use the trash can icon (or swipe left) to delete a student from the roster.
To prevent cheating, student accounts are hardware-locked to their specific phone. If they get a new phone or need to switch, the educator must go to ๐Ÿ“‹ Enrollment Data, tap the student, and click Unlock Device to reset their device lock.
Go to ๐Ÿ“‹ Manage Attendance. In the attendance table, locate the specific date column and student row, and click the P/A button to flip their status manually.
On the Take Attendance screen, look for the Class Status setting. Switching from a "Working Day" to a "Holiday" (๐ŸŽ‰) or "Leave" (๐Ÿฅ) will instantly update the table. Holidays are colored Blue, Leaves are Purple, and neither will penalize your students' attendance percentages!
The app features a Weighted Attendance engine. If you configured different durations in your Specific Timings, the app automatically gives more weight to longer classes when calculating percentages. If the app detects varying class lengths without a schedule, it will smartly prompt you to pick the duration before saving!
Yes! You can click on the column headers (Roll No, Full Name, or Summary) to instantly sort the table ascending or descending.
If you made a mistake on a past date, open that date in the Take Attendance screen, scroll to the bottom, and click the red ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ Delete button. For security, you will be required to type "delete" to confirm before the record is erased.
Managing Classes & Custom Forms
Educators can build dynamic enrollment forms. Inside your class, go to โš™๏ธ Class Settings and access the Form Builder to:
  • Change the primary ID header (e.g., from "Roll No." to "University ID" or any Custom Name).
  • Set the Phone Number requirement (Mandatory vs Optional).
  • Add unlimited custom fields (like "Department" or "Year") that students must fill out when joining your class.
When creating or editing a class, you can add Specific Timings. You can set the Day (Mon-Sun), Start Time, End Time, and assign a specific Room Number for each lecture. The app uses these timings to intelligently sort your classes and trigger smart notifications.

Smart Schedule UI: The app also uses this data to smartly highlight your dashboard. Active classes happening today are fully highlighted with a bold background, while the very next upcoming class (even if it's next week) is automatically bolded so you always know what's next!
On your main dashboard, tap the three dots (โ‹ฎ) on any class card and select โœ๏ธ Edit Class. You can modify the name, section, timings, and rooms. Note: The app safely handles renaming and will instantly migrate your local database without losing any data. Furthermore, any edits you make are dynamically synced in real-time to all your enrolled students!
Tapping ๐Ÿ“ฆ Archive Class removes it from your active dashboard and moves it to the "Educator Archives" tab. To keep your daily workspace clean and clutter-free, archiving stores completed classes in an organized archive while perfectly preserving your full attendance and marks records offline. It also archives the class on your students' devices.
Yes! Navigate to the ๐Ÿ“ฆ Educator Archives tab on the bottom menu. Your archives are neatly organized by Year and Month. Simply find the class and click Restore to bring it back to your active dashboard with all data intact.
When you open a specific class, your bottom navigation bar transforms! The tabs change to give you direct access to Class Messages (for broadcasting announcements) and Quiz & Marks (the Assessment Hub), provided the class has been synced to the cloud.
Assessment Hub: Marks & Remarks
Navigate to the Quiz & Marks tab and select an exam. You can quickly enter numerical marks with up to 2 decimal places of precision (e.g. 17.50, 8.25) for each student. The app also supports special status codes: typing ABS (Absent), DET (Detained), UFM (Unfair Means), or OTH (Other) will automatically format the text in bold purple.
Yes! If you accidentally enter a mark that is higher than the maximum allowed total, the app will highlight the input in bold red to instantly alert you.
In the Assessment Hub, tap Upload Marks and select your file. The app will automatically scan your sheet and suggest column mappings for Roll/Name and your Exam columns. You can manually tweak them before hitting "Import" to seamlessly merge the data.
Yes! Tap Photo/PDF Using AI in the Upload Menu. You can upload an image or a PDF. The app's built-in cropper will let you draw a box around the exact table you want to scan, and the AI will extract the names and scores instantly.
No problem! You can crop student names from one photo, and then click Add Another Part to crop the marks from another photo. The AI will merge them together for you side-by-side!
The Online AI uses the cloud to read messy handwriting and multi-page tables. The Offline AI is faster and works without internet, but requires clean, printed text tables and cannot combine multiple photos together.
The app allows you to add text remarks or notes for students. Click the column toggles to show the Remarks column, or use the dedicated Manage Remarks screen. These notes are saved securely and are perfect for documenting behavioral observations or assignment notes.
When an educator publishes solutions or finalizes a quiz, any enrolled student who did not attempt or submit the test is recorded with 0 marks. This ensures that final percentage calculations, grade distributions, and class performance averages remain mathematically accurate without null gaps.
Yes! All submitted quiz scores, teacher remarks, and published assessment summaries are securely linked to your authenticated student account in the cloud database. If you reinstall the app or log in on a new device, your complete academic records and past quiz marks are automatically restored.
Class Messaging System
Open a class that has been synced to the cloud, and tap the Class Messages tab at the bottom. Type your message and hit send! The app will instantly send a Push Notification to all your enrolled students.
By default, class messaging is a one-way announcement board. Students cannot reply. However, educators can click the โš™๏ธ Chat Permissions icon in the top right to selectively allow specific students to reply (e.g., Class Representatives).
To maintain a streamlined and distraction-free environment for official announcements, the class messaging system is designed as a one-way broadcast by default. Only educators and designated representatives possess reply privileges.
It's perfect for declaring surprise tests, communicating unexpected leaves, or sharing important study materials. You can easily paste links to cloud drives or external resources, and they will be directly clickable for students.
Class messages are intended for group-wide announcements and do not support private direct messaging. If you need to discuss a personal matter, please utilize the educator's official email address provided in their profile to ensure a professional and secure correspondence.
The app features an intelligent Read Receipt system! In the chat, you will see a small "Read by X" indicator at the bottom of your messages showing exactly how many students have seen it.
No, to maintain a clean database and protect privacy, all class messages are automatically and permanently deleted after 7 days.
Simply Long-Press any message bubble in the chat! Your phone will vibrate slightly, and the text will be instantly copied to your clipboard. Long URLs are beautifully shortened for readability but will copy fully.
Data Sync & Google Drive Backups
The app creates a folder in your Google Drive called "Attendance App Backups". Inside, it saves a master backup file containing your complete classes, settings, and enrollment codes, as well as beautifully formatted Excel files (.xlsx) for every active and archived class, complete with Summary Dashboards, Enrollment, Attendance, and Marks sheets.
You can safely use aiClassrooms on multiple devices (like your phone and your tablet). If you mark attendance on your phone and sync, and then later sync on your tablet, the app will merge the data from both devices automatically without overwriting or losing any records.
To save your time and mobile data, the app only uploads files for classes that have actually changed since your last backup. If a class has no new attendance or marks, the app simply skips it.
If you delete a class on one device, the app remembers this. When you sync your other devices, they will automatically delete that class too, preventing deleted classes from popping back up.
Yes! On your new phone or fresh install, sign in with your Google account. The app features a Proactive Cloud Restore engine with smart deduplication:
  • The app immediately checks if you have synced classes in the cloud and presents a 1-tap restore prompt.
  • Deduplication Guard: Merges cloud and local records seamlessly so you never get duplicate class cards or lose offline modifications.
  • You can also click Restore from Drive anytime to restore full historical Excel spreadsheets and archive backups.
Yes. Inside any class, go to โš™๏ธ Class Settings and click Export to Excel. This will instantly generate and download the spreadsheet directly to your device without requiring a full Google Drive upload.
The first sheet of every exported Excel file contains a high-level summary including Total Students, Tracked Hours, Holidays, and an Attendance Bracket breakdown showing exactly how many students are in the Red (0-25%), Orange (26-50%), Yellow (51-75%), and Green (76-100%) zones.
Security & Notifications
Yes! The app is designed to work offline. If you open the app without internet, it will load instantly using the files stored on your device. You can safely take attendance or practice quizzes completely offline. Once you reconnect to the internet, the app automatically syncs your data and updates itself in the background!
The app securely links your student account to your specific phone. This ensures that only you can mark your attendance from your own device, preventing anyone else from doing it for you.
For strict security and anti-cheat integrity, the web platform enforces an approved browser whitelist:
  • Supported Browsers: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari, or the Official Mobile Apps (Android & iOS).
  • Why other browsers are blocked: Browsers like Firefox, Opera, and Brave modify or randomize device hardware identifiers and lack standardized Web Bluetooth and secure storage APIs needed to prevent proxy attendance and exam cheating.
You will see red notification badges on your class cards and tabs whenever a new Quiz, Mark, or Class Message is posted. You will also receive push notifications directly to your phone.
Yes! The app uses your phone's native face or fingerprint lock. Don't worry if your device has older or weaker hardware; the app includes safe fallbacks to ensure you never get locked out of your account.
The app has a built-in Safety Lock. If you have an active attendance session or quiz running and accidentally tap to leave or close the screen, the app will instantly pause and ask for confirmation before ending the session, ensuring you never lose data by mistake!
For educators using public classroom computers (like a podium), aiClassrooms features strict security. If the computer is left idle for 15 minutes, the app automatically drops a blurred lock screen to protect your data from students. To unlock the screen, simply open your mobile app and scan the QR code to instantly resume exactly where you left off.
To prevent spam and save data, the QR login code automatically expires and blurs out if nobody scans it within 1 minute. If this happens, simply click the Refresh QR button to generate a new secure code!
No! Since you log in using a secure QR scan rather than a traditional password, clicking Logout on the desktop podium will only destroy the session on that specific computer. Your personal phone will remain securely logged in.
AI Quizzes & Exams
In Educator Mode, you can attach a syllabus (PDF, Excel, or Text). The AI will instantly read your document and craft a balanced, multiple-choice quiz (including Easy, Moderate, and Difficult questions) complete with smart distractors.
If a student misses an exam or gets permanently locked out, you can generate a Make-Up Quiz. The AI will instantly write a completely new exam testing the exact same concepts but using different scenarios and numbers to prevent cheating!
Yes. Educators can manually toggle the Submissions: ON/OFF button for any quiz. If set to OFF, students will be blocked from submitting until you set it back to ON.
If the timer for a specific question runs out, don't worry! The app intelligently saves whichever option you currently had selected at that exact moment. You won't lose credit just because you couldn't hit the Next button in time.
  • Strict Anti-Cheating: Instantly locks a student's exam if they switch apps or use split-screen.
  • Server-Authoritative Grading: Answer keys are stored securely on the server and are never downloaded to student phones before submission. Tests are evaluated directly on secure cloud servers, preventing client-side inspection.
  • Auto-Mark Attendance: Automatically marks a student "Present" for the day the moment they submit the test.
  • Zero Microphone Overhead: Quiz security operates completely through window and lifecycle monitoring, without requiring intrusive microphone permissions.
  • Delay Solution Release: Hides the answer key until 15 minutes after the exam time has fully expired for everyone.
Yes! Before publishing, a "Target Audience" screen allows you to select exactly which students will receive the quiz on their devices.
You can easily generate a Make-Up Quiz specifically for the absentees on the fly. The original quiz will be invisible to them, and other students won't receive notifications for the new quiz.
Students open the Quiz & Marks section in their student app and tap the active quiz. When the educator starts the broadcast, students can begin using any of three fast methods:
  • ๐Ÿ“ท Scan QR Code: Scan the Start QR Code displayed on the educator's screen.
  • ๐Ÿช„ Bluetooth Start: Tap Mark / Start using Bluetooth to automatically detect the teacher's broadcast signal.
  • โŒจ๏ธ 8-Character Access Code: Enter the uppercase 8-character Start Code shown on the educator's screen.
If a student's exam locks due to app switching or strict anti-cheating, the educator can tap ๐Ÿ”“ Unlock Students in the Quiz Control Room to start a live unlock session:
  • ๐Ÿช„ Bluetooth Unlock: The educator's device broadcasts an unlock signal; students simply tap ๐Ÿช„ Bluetooth Unlock on their lock screen to resume immediately.
  • ๐Ÿ“ท Scan Unlock QR: Students scan the rotating QR code displayed on the educator's screen.
  • ๐Ÿ”ข 4-Digit Rolling Code: Students can type the temporary 4-digit code shown on the educator's live unlock banner.
  • Individual Reset: Educators can also tap Reset Session directly next to any student's name in the live submissions list.
The educator's Quiz Control Room features a real-time Submissions dashboard showing each student's score, time elapsed, and Fairness Index. An abnormal drop in the Fairness Index (highlighted in red) alerts you if a student attempted to minimize the app, switch tabs, or trigger split-screen.
To prevent cheating, questions and options are scrambled for every student. Additionally, you will only see one question at a time.
No. You only need the internet to start the quiz and to submit it at the end. While you are actively answering questions, the timer and exam engine run completely offline!
Don't panic! The app will safely save your completed test to your device. You can safely exit the screen. Once you have internet again, just open the app and tap Retry Submission.
This is a security feature that blocks notifications and prevents you from accidentally exiting the exam.

How to set it up:
  • Apple (iOS): Go to your phone's Settings > Accessibility > Guided Access and turn it on. Once inside the aiClassrooms app, triple-press the Power button (or Home button) to start Guided Access before starting the quiz.
  • Android: Go to your phone's Settings > Security > Advanced > App Pinning (or Screen Pinning) and turn it on. To activate it, open your recent apps screen, tap the aiClassrooms app icon, and select Pin.
The app monitors your exam session. If you try to open split-screen, switch apps, or exit the exam, your Fairness Index drops and your educator will see it.
If your educator enabled Strict Anti-Cheating, your exam will instantly lock if you try to switch apps, open a split-screen, or use a floating window. You must walk up to the educator to get it unlocked.
The app securely binds the quiz to the physical hardware of the phone you started it on. If your phone dies and you must swap devices, the new device will show a massive red Unlock Code that you must show to your educator to authorize the swap.
If you manage to start the test on one device but somehow try to submit it on another, the app's hardware security will reject it. You will need to ask the educator for a Make-Up quiz.
If your educator enabled "Delay Solution Release", you must wait until the maximum exam time has expired for the entire class (plus 15 minutes) or until your educator taps Publish Solutions.
In the Quiz Control Room, clicking ๐Ÿ“ข Publish Solutions immediately and permanently closes the exam, allowing all students who submitted to view the full answer key and explanations from the server.

Safety Protection: Because publishing solutions is irreversible (students who haven't submitted yet will be locked out and must take a Make-Up Quiz), the app requires the educator to type "publish" into a confirmation prompt before executing.
Yes! You can use the Practice Mock Quiz feature. Just upload a syllabus document (PDF, Spreadsheet, or Text) or type a topic, and the AI will instantly generate a custom practice test for you. This is an unlimited resource, highly useful for placement preparation or improving knowledge on weak subjects.
No, practice quizzes are purely for self-assessment. Your marks are only visible to you and are not sent to your educator.
Unlike real exams which pause or save your progress, practice quizzes are meant to be completed in one sitting. If you minimize or close the app, your practice progress will be immediately discarded.
AI Troubleshooting
To bring you the most advanced capabilities, the app securely communicates with powerful AI cloud servers to process complex tasks (like generating quizzes or reading handwritten marks). During periods of very high global traffic or brief network interruptions, the server might be too busy to respond instantly. If you see an error, simply wait a few seconds and try again!
Features labeled as Online AI (such as AI Quiz Generation or multi-page table scanning) require an active internet connection to contact our cloud servers. However, you can always fall back to the Offline AI for scanning perfectly printed tables without any internet access!
To use online AI features (like scanning attendance sheet photos or generating quizzes):
  1. Go to Google AI Studio at https://aistudio.google.com/app/apikey.
  2. Sign in with your Google account.
  3. Click Create API key and copy the generated key.
  4. Come back to the app and paste the key into the prompt dialog when you attempt to use any AI feature.
Your key is securely encrypted and saved directly to your account. You only need to do this once!
If your API key is invalid or expires, the app will automatically clear it and prompt you to enter a new one the next time you use an AI feature. You can get a new key for free anytime from Google AI Studio.
Certificates & Verification
In Student Mode, click the Attendance Certificate button on any class card, or the Marks Certificate button on a submitted quiz. You can download these as images and share them directly to LinkedIn!
If your educator has verified their Official Email address, your certificate is automatically upgraded to the "Verified Tier," displaying a green checkmark to prove authenticity.
Anyone can open the aiClassrooms app, click the sidebar menu, select Verify Certificate, and scan the QR code printed on your certificate to instantly verify its authenticity against our cloud database.
Profile, Settings & Account Security
Both educators and students can navigate to the ๐Ÿ‘ค Profile / Settings tab on the bottom menu to set their Display Name, Title, Institution, and personal preferences.
In your Profile page, enter your academic or official email address in the "Official Email" box and click Verify. You will receive a secure verification code via email to confirm your identity. Verifying your official email adds a checkmark to your profile and enables premium trust features (like issuing Verified Tier certificates for educators).
To maintain academic integrity and prevent identity fraud during exams and attendance, identity changes are strictly regulated by database security triggers:
  • 3-Edit Limit & 30-Day Freeze: You can edit your Name or Roll Number up to 3 times to correct typos. After the 3rd edit, your identity is locked for 30 days.
  • 7-Day Open Window Enforcement: Identity updates only cascade to enrolled classes if the class is within its 7-Day Open Window. Once a class switches to List Only or Closed, roster names are permanently locked to preserve official records.
  • Need an emergency fix? If your details are frozen or the window has closed, ask your educator to update your roll number or name directly in their class roster.
To sign out on mobile:
  1. Go to the โš™๏ธ Settings tab.
  2. Scroll down and tap Sign Out.
  3. Type sign out in the prompt to confirm.
This securely destroys your active session tokens and cached credentials on the device, returning you to the login screen for easy account switching.
Inside โš™๏ธ Settings, the collapsible โš ๏ธ Danger Zone allows you to permanently delete your account:
  • Secure Soft-Delete Vault: To protect against accidental loss or unauthorized malicious deletion, your profile and class relationships are safely archived in an encrypted database vault (deleted_profiles) before local data is erased.
  • 1-Tap Instant Restoration: If you ever log back in using your original verified Google email, the system automatically detects your vaulted account and offers a 1-tap restore prompt to recover all your classes and profile settings seamlessly!
In โš™๏ธ Settings under AI Key Settings, you can input your personal Google Gemini API key (BYOK - Bring Your Own Key). This key is encrypted and used to power advanced vision attendance scanning and automated quiz generation with your own Google AI Studio quota.
