Welcome to aiClassrooms. By accessing or using our web application at aiclassrooms.org (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the App.

1. Description of Service

aiClassrooms provides a suite of digital tools for educators and students to manage attendance, track academic performance, and facilitate secure proximity-based check-ins using hardware sensors (Bluetooth, GPS, and Ultrasonic audio).

2. User Accounts and Identity

• Google Authentication: You must use a valid Google Account to access the App. You are responsible for safeguarding your Google account credentials.
• Identity Lock: To maintain academic integrity, Student names and roll numbers are subject to a 30-day modification lock. You agree not to attempt to bypass this lock or impersonate another student.
• Official Emails: Educators may verify official institutional emails. You must only verify emails that you explicitly own and have authorization to use.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Falsify attendance records or academic marks.
• Reverse-engineer, manipulate, or intercept the Bluetooth, Ultrasonic, or QR code peer-to-peer attendance systems.
• Upload malicious scripts, executable files, or inappropriate content to the App's cloud infrastructure.
• Use the automated AI/OCR systems (Gemini API) to process highly sensitive or legally restricted documents unrelated to classroom management.

4. Data Ownership and Responsibilities

The App operates on an "Offline-First" model. While we synchronize your data to the cloud for cross-device access, Educators are solely responsible for maintaining their own backups. We provide tools to export data to Excel or Google Drive, but we are not liable for accidental data loss, deletion, or corruption.

5. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect, use, and protect your data.

6. Service Availability

We do not guarantee that the App will always be available or uninterrupted. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time, especially if free-tier usage limits on integrated services (such as Supabase or Google Gemini) are exceeded.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall aiClassrooms, its creators, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the App, including but not limited to academic disputes, administrative penalties, or data loss.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
